We
currently are seeking career oriented individuals with a stable
work history and superior communication skills for the following
positions:
Commercial
Insurance Outside Sales:
This is an outside sales position with emphasis on property and
casualty sales to medium to large sized businesses. Leads are generated
from various sources including advertising, direct mail and telemarketing
activities. Compensation for this position includes a base salary
with production bonuses. A successful track record in commercial
insurance sales is required.
Personal
Insurance Agent:
This challenging position in our Personal Insurance Department is
responsible for providing customer service to Personal Insurance
Clients for which the Agency handles Homeowners, Automobile, Umbrella,
Domestic Workers Compensation, Boats and other personal insurance
policies. You will be responsible for client service, marketing,
and sales of new policies. Client service includes answering client
questions, taking change requests and claim reports, and resolving
billing issues. Marketing includes input into carrier rating systems,
development of proposals, and review by phone with the client. Sales
include assisting current clients and prospects with purchasing
new policies. This is primarily an inside position that will require
some prospect/client visits outside the office.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will possess a P&C Agent’s license
and have not less than 3 years experience working with independent
agency personal insurance customer service and/or sales operations,
excellent communication and computer skills, stable work history,
and an aptitude for sales. College degree and CPCU and/or CIC desired
but not required. Experience with Applied WinTam agency management,
MS Outlook, MS Word, MS Excel a plus.
Commercial
Account Manager:
This challenging position in our Commercial Property & Casualty
Department is responsible for working in a team environment providing
customer service to Small, middle market and larger commercial businesses.
Client service duties include answering client questions, taking
change requests, issue certificates of insurance, and claim reports,
resolving billing issues, and other related activity. This is an
inside position with limited client visits and attendance at educational
seminars generally in the Washington, DC metro area.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate must possess: a current Property & Casualty
Agent license, at least 3 years Commercial Lines independent agency
experience, strong interpersonal and computer skills (MSWord, Excel,
Outlook and Applied/TAM), a desire to help customers, enjoy working
in a team environment and have a stable work history. A College
degree and CPCU and/or CIC desired but not required.
