Our
Commitment To Privacy Your privacy is important to us. To better
protect your privacy we provide this notice explaining our online
information practices and the choices you can make about the way
your information is collected and used. To make this notice easy
to find, we make it available on our homepage and at every point
where personally identifiable information may be requested.

or submitted on the InsuranceServices.com website. On some pages,
you can obtain instant insurance quotes and on others, you can make
requests for quotes to be e-mailed. The types of personal information
collected on these pages include:
- Name
- Address
- E-mail address
- Phone number
- Social Security Number
- Date of Birth
- Underwriting Information
The Way
We Use Information We use the information you provide about
yourself to underwrite the insurance policies you are interested
in. If you become a customer, we may use this information to market
your policies to other carriers from time to time. We share the
information you provide with insurance companies and with credit
bureaus as described below.
We will never
use or share the personally identifiable information provided to
us online in ways unrelated to the ones described above without
also providing you an opportunity to opt-out or otherwise prohibit
such unrelated uses.
Our Commitment
To Data Security To prevent unauthorized access, maintain data
accuracy, and ensure the correct use of information, we have put
in place appropriate physical, electronic, and managerial procedures
to safeguard and secure the information we collect online.
Our Commitment
To Children's Privacy Protecting the privacy of the very young
is especially important. No part of our website is structured to
attract anyone under 16 and we do not maintain information about
our customer's children beyond that necessary to process insurance
transactions.
How You Can
Access Or Correct Your Information You can access all your personally
identifiable information that we collect online and maintain by
contacting us at (301) 628-4000. You will be required to comply
with an identification procedure that is used to better safeguard
your information. You
can correct factual errors in your personally identifiable information
by sending us a request that credibly shows error. To
protect your privacy and security, we will also take reasonable
steps to verify your identity before granting access or making corrections.
Consumer
Reports Most insurance companies utilize consumer reports in
the underwriting and pricing of their products. The use of motor
vehicle driving records (MVR's) is common for both personal and
business automobile insurance underwriting. Insurance companies
also share information with each other about claims and we may obtain
your prior claim history for the type of insurance you apply for.
Many insurance companies also use business and consumer credit information
because insurance companies have found that clients with good credit
ratings are better risks. The use of driving records and consumer
credit reports is governed by the Fair Credit Reporting Act.
You Authorize
Us to Obtain Consumer Reports By completing and submitting the
on-line applications for insurance on this site, you agree to allow
us to obtain consumer reports, including driving records, prior
claim history, and credit reports, for the purposes of underwriting
and pricing the insurance products you apply for. If you become
a customer of ours, then you also authorize us to obtain similar
reports at the time your policy renews in order to keep your underwriting
and pricing current.
Insurance
Score If your credit history is used to underwrite or price
a policy offered by our agency, then we will receive your consumer
report in a summarized fashion commonly called an "insurance
score." The insurance score is a compilation of different types
of information including your credit history. The insurance score
is only a summary of your overall results. We do not see your actual
credit report.
Your Rights
Under the Fair Credit Reporting Act You have certain rights
under the FCRA including the right to disclosure in the event that
information contained in your report negatively effects you. If
we receive an insurance score that qualifies you for anything less
than the best rate available from that insurance company, we will
notify you in writing including the name and address of the consumer
reporting agency that provided the insurance score. You then have
a right to dispute negative information and the reporting agency
is required to delete inaccurate information. See this summary of
the Fair Credit Reporting
Act for additional details.
Your Agreement
to This Policy By using this site, you signify your agreement
to our on-line privacy policy. If you do not agree to this policy,
please do not use this site. We reserve the right, at our discretion,
to update, change, modify, add, or remove portions of this policy
from time to time. Any changes to this privacy policy will be promptly
disclosed in this area.
