Chubb's
International package can be tailored to provide a broad array
of international coverage for US domociled firms. There are
four main types of international exposures for US firms:
Importer
Importing products from other countries creates the need for
foreign property coverage. Chubb's form extends domestic property
coverage worldwide so there is no need to report individual
shipments or schedule temporary locations. This also adds supplementary
property coverages such as loss of income and contingent business
locations. Policy language synchronizes coverage with any coverage
available from carriers in other countries.
Exporter
In today's global marketplace, more an more firms are exporting
their products to other countries. The Chubb form responds with
worldwide products liability coverage.
Travel
When employees travel outside the United States and Canada,
there is little protection available from domestic insurance
policies. Chubb's International product provides a package of
coverages to address these exposures including:
-
Non-owned
and rented automobile coverage. (Note some countries require
insurance from a carrier located in that country.)
-
Foreign
Workers Compensation
-
Medical
and Travel Assistance including emergency medical evacuation
and access to translators, transportation, and legal services.
Permanent
Foreign Operations Locations in other countries call for
coordination of coverages with local insurance laws and a network
of claims and service personnel. Chubb maintains relationships
with subsidiaries and non-owned insurance carriers in Europe,
Asia-Pacific, and Latin America to insure that your program
meets country-specific legal requirements. In addition, they
maintain a worldwide network of corespondents, consultants,
loss control, and claim professionals to insure quality and
timely service virtually anywhere in the world.
